Context & objective

Mitsubishi launched in Romania the new Outlander, positioning it as the ideal family car, being extremely spacious.

The digital campaign had to promote it as such and finally bring people in for test drive.


Idea & Strategy

The campaign dramatized the space benefit and invited people to register their entire family, as we searched for the biggest family in Romania. Actually, the largest family on Facebook.

We developed a Facebook app, where people could create their unique family profile and invite all family members who own Facebook accounts to join.

In order for each member to be confirmed in the family, each of the member had to confirm it by themselves.

People could register for test drive directly from the Facebook app.

We promoted the campaign through facebook ads, an interactive banner on mitsu.ro and a creative email sent to the Mitsubishi Romania website data base.


Results vs. Objectives

People accepted our challenge and families all over Romania started to fight for the title of the largest family on Facebook.

An average of 5,5 people were invited in every family.

Engaged families

Objective: 300 families
Result: 1587 families!
